From live set to remix stems
That 20-minute live set? Now it's a remix pack.
Live audio is a mess (and that's fine)
Crowd noise, stage bleed, the drummer's monitor leaking everywhere. Live sets are chaos. But the vocal's in there somewhere.
We pulled the main vocal and kept the residual as backing. Came out strong enough for a proper remix pack.
Small things that helped
Trimmed the intro and outro first—silent sections make for weird artifacts. Then normalized the isolated vocal before layering it with new production.
Nothing fancy. Just a cleaner starting point.
What we shipped
Six stems, consistent levels, crowd bleed low enough that we skipped noise gates entirely. The remixers were happy.
Quick stats
- 6 usable stems from one 20-min set
- Crowd bleed low enough to skip gates
